Travis R. Richards, P.E.

Mr. Richards began tinkering with electrical devices and the first personal computers in the 80’s. He continued fixing things while an enlisted soldier with the U.S. Army in the early 90’s as a Multiple Launch Rocket System Repairer.  He then completed his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at LSU.  As an undergraduate, he was exposed to geotechnical instrumentation while working at LTRC.   Upon graduation, he started working as an assistant engineer at Eustis Engineering L.L.C. in 1999.  Mr. Richards has obtained his Master of Science in Engineering, and Engineering Management, plus a Graduate Certificate in Coastal Engineering from the University of New Orleans.  He is currently licensed as a Progressional Engineer in Louisiana, Florida, Alabama, and Texas.  Mr. Richards leads the company’s instrumentation program and acts as its Chief Technology Officer. He has been involved with a wide range of projects from residential to large heavy civil construction providing geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing services. He resides in the New Orleans area with his wife, Jen, and their three children.
