THE GROVES AT MILE BRANCH

COVINGTON, LOUISIANA

Eustis Engineering performed the geotechnical services on a mixed-income housing development that aims to help working families on the North Shore. The Groves at Mile Branch is a unique Covington apartment development of single and multi-family lots. A dog park, citrus garden, community orchard, and tot lot are included in the amenities. The apartment complex is situated amidst a central park and community building, near a distressed neighborhood known as the West 30s. The Groves was developed by the Renaissance Neighborhood Development Corporation, a partnership between the national Volunteers of America and the Greater New Orleans branch. Eustis Engineering developed engineering analyses for the project based on the soil borings and soil mechanics laboratory tests performed by our field and laboratory personnel.
