The renovation of the Second Harvest Food Bank of Greater New Orleans and Acadiana (Second Harvest) was featured in e-architect under the design team EskewDumezRipple. Eustis Engineering provided geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing, and special inspection services over the lifecycle of this project. Our services included timber inspection, logging timber pile installation, vibration monitoring, logging of augercast piles, grout and concrete inspections, floor flatness, and welding and steel inspection.
The services provided by entities such as Second Harvest are critical to those living in poverty, particularly around the holidays. The completion of this renovation enables their staff and volunteers to serve the community at their highest potential.
