James J. Hance, P.E., had the opportunity to speak to students in the UNO Student Chapter of ASCE on October 17th. He shared Eustis Engineering’s experience as Geotechnical Engineer of Record on the $2.9 billion Mid-Barataria Sediment Diversion project. Jim has served as the Project Manager throughout the 5 ½ -year design phase and its current transition into the construction phase. He was able to give the unique aspects of a project with multiple disciplines of Civil Engineering involved (Geotechnical, Civil, Structural, Hydraulics, Transportation, etc.). Eustis Engineering continues to dedicate time and effort to future professionals within our industry.
